Monday: 35min total body
Thanksgiving was a blast this year! I had an easy ride to Ohio and got to meet up with Emmeline and her husband for dinner. But she’s a jerk…always feeding me beer and trying to talk me into doing an Ironman.
Thanksgiving morning I ran 6 hilly miles on a beautiful clear day making room for all the food I forgot to take pictures of haha, oops. I think we had a little over 30 people on T-Day and it was amazing. A lot of catching up, laughing, wine, kids playing and everyone falling in love LE!
LE enjoyed the freedom of being off-leash and having a ton of space to play. She listened perfectly and was so easy to take care of. Plus, she just looked so majestic!
Later, after most of us napped, we had a bonfire, corn hole, giant jenga, and more wine. It felt almost like a college party, but way more fun cause the company was awesome 🙂
All the female relatives (minus my SIL Trish.. where are you trish??)

Aunt Terri, Aunt Dena, Niece Peyton, Grandma Maley, Aunt Chicken, Me & LE
The next day we hit up Zoo Lights at the Columbus Zoo. It drizzled and was raining hard at the end, but everyone had a good time.
I left for home Saturday morning and once I got LE bathed, she passed out in a blanket for an hour. She was beat. So was I. I still feel like i’m making up sleep!

Sounds like you had a nice Thanksgiving! Love all the pretty lights at the zoo. They do that at one of the baseball parks around here where you drive through and there is all kinds of cool lighted snowmen, candy canes, etc. Seeing your pics made me want to make a trip back there :). Btw, your pup is soooo cute!

Love all the pics – awesome Thanksgiving, and love how everyone is celebrating your wedding in their own way. 🙂
As for Christmas … we got the tree up when Danny was home from college (since his last final is Dec 23rd), all the decoration boxes are scattered and we’ll deal with them eventually. As for shopping … we have Chris pretty much done, and only have one tiny thing for Danny. Ugh. As for each other … who knows, we’re not really too worried. We bought some new kitchen stuff for cooking (our Kitchen Aid was HOW old? 😉 ), but haven’t even discussed budget for each other yet. 🙂

I keep making cookies by hand mixing. No joke, i do not have a mixer or anything. But we have some gift cards since we got married so i’m getting one soon! Our budget is under $50 this year. The playstation & skydiving were expensive bday gifts, so we’re just doing stocking stuffers for xmas and gonna save for a few trips next year 🙂

Yeah, I failed to set or obey a reasonable budget for Lisa’s 50th this fall 🙂 Chances are she’ll do the same in the spring for me.
And I really agree that focusing on other stuff – like the skydiving – is awesome rather than both pulling money from the same ‘bucket’ to give a certain amount of ‘stuff’ to each other. That is why I love the Kitchen Aid and pots & pans … we both love cooking, and it is fun to share that love, so these are things we can share together.

I am so ready for December! I am not ready for Christmas yet because I enjoy the whole build up to it. I almost like it more than the day! I also appreciate Hanukah (latkes heck yes!) and every seasonal thing that I can eat 🙂 Happy Holidays!

haha exactly, i’m down to celebrate any holiday as long as the company and food is good!
